Hi, I'm Katy!

I’m a licensed mental health therapist (LCSW 28768) in the state of California, as well as a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™, with a passion for working with ambitious women and seeing them rise!

I have 13+ years of experience providing specialty mental health services and treating a variety of mental health conditions including PTSD, Social Anxiety, Major Depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. My mission has always been to leave this world better than I found it, and I find so much meaning through authentic human connection.

I love sharing the tools I was privileged to learn in my career, some of which have actually been around for thousands of years. These tools have also assisted me personally in coping with the stress and anxiety that comes along with this life, and have helped me find more calm in a chaotic world.

Too much stress in life will lead to moments of anxiety and overwhelm. Though some stress is normal, it can become chronic and pervasive. This can lead to problems functioning in your usual life roles and impact your daily experiences.

If left untreated, it can also be detrimental to your health as studies show our immune system suppresses with chronic stress and anxiety.

This is why I want to support you with online anxiety therapy, in my self-study online courses that include evidence based tools that help you find relief and a new way of being.

I believe access to supportive resources should be easily available and modern technology supports my offering of mindfulness training online. It’s a privilege to be able to increase accessibility to anxiety treatment online through my online mindfulness classes.

I provide trauma-informed care as well as a whole-person, holistic perspective that works with the mind-body connection. In working towards balance internally, we can find a sense of ease and inner peace that ripples out to everything around us.

In our individual therapy or coaching sessions I will listen to your needs, goals and strengths in order to develop a custom-made plan with you to address the areas where you are struggling. Having the support of someone alongside you as you journey towards your most authentic and empowered self, is truly priceless.
